Roo Kids Chat App app for iPhone and iPad

Roo Kids is a fun messaging app for kids with minimum yet critical parental controls.

The two biggest concern parents have are if strangers are sneaking in and chatting with their kids and if kids are chatting when they should have been doing their homework. Roo Kids addresses these concern directly.

SAFETY
A parent creates the kids account and gets to choose the kid’s username.

On Roo Kids, the parent is notified what the kid adds a new user to the contact list and the parent can remove or permanently block a user. Kids can report abusive message or user. Parents can take further actions on kid’s reports and report the abusive user to Roo Kids.

CURFEW
Parents can set Curfew Time during which the live chat will not work.

BAD WORD FILTERING
Parents can choose what bad words not to show to kids. There is a preconfigured list they can edit. Instead of showing those words, the app will show *** in chat session.

PRIVACY
We do not request, collect, or guess your geo-location. As soon as the instant message is delivered, it is removed from our servers. We may retain offline messages till they are delivered. Once delivered, they are removed from our server. We do not sell or trade your personally identifiable information.

SECURITY
All information (username, password, messages, etc.) are transmitted via Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology. This is same technology used by your banks and online e-commerce website. Anyone tapping into your network cannot read the passwords or the messages being exchanged.

ADVERTISING
We do not display ads anywhere in the app.
